- Huaphanprovince covers an area of 16,500 square kilometers and comprises of 10 districts, of which 2 districts are most affected by unexploded ordnance: Hua Mueang and Viengthong districts.
- UXO Lao Provincial Office in Huaphan was established in December 1996.
- UXO Lao Huaphan currently has a total of 116 personnel (27 women), including 23 office staff and 93 field staff.
