- Khammuaneprovince covers an area of 16,315 square kilometers and comprises of 10 districts, of which 4 districts are most affected by unexploded ordnance: Bualapha, Ngommalath, Mahaxay and Xaibouathong districts.
- UXO Lao Provincial Office in Khammuane was established in May 1999.
- UXO Lao Luang Khammuane currently has a total of 206 personnel (57 women), including 41 office staff and 165 field staff.
- UXO Lao Khammuane is currently supported by the U.S. Government and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
