- Salavanprovince covers an area of 16,389 square kilometers and comprises of 8 districts, of which 7 districts are most affected by unexploded ordnance: Salavan, Ta Oi, Samuay, Lao Ngarm, Toumlan, Vapi and Khongxedon districts.
- UXO Lao Provincial Office in Salavan was established in July 1997.
- UXO Lao Salavan currently has a total of 214 personnel (57 women), including 40 office staff and 174 field staff.
